10 tube patches, 2 of which are over seams. One is a patch over a patch as the first one didn't fully seal. A handlful of pinhole patches on floor.

Bottom Line:
There's no way around it, this raft had a rough year as a rental. It is holding air just fine now, however, the 2 patches over the seams and the patch on a patch are things that need to be monitored. It would be easy to repatch anything that peels up, either with aqua-seal or tenacious tape and if they did peel they would be slow leaks so you'd have time to pull over and make the repairs. The raft has been discounted accordingly, but it is still a solid option and the zipper and other aspects of the rafts seem to be in good condition. Overall this model offers exceptional versatility in terms of the types of whitewater you can do, cargo capacity and still maintaining a relatively low pack weight. With some monitoring and maintenance, this raft can take you on many an adventure for years to come!

Bottom Line:
Patches are in good shape and should hold over time. That said, the patch over the seam is something to watch but can be easily re-patched with something like tenacious tape. There is no risk of seam failure with this kind of patch. This raft offers exceptional versatility in terms of the types of whitewater you can do, cargo capacity and still maintaining a relatively low pack weight. This raft can take you on many an adventure for years to come!

Terms:
Leaks- All rafts have been tested for tube leaks and are deemed to hold air under normal conditions for at least 8 hours. If you purchase one and it does not hold air due to a leak and you notify us within 30 days, we will refund the purchase price and 2-way shipping.
Also Includes- All rafts come with a patch kit, inflation bag and stuff sack. Spray skirts, pex poles and in-tube storage bags are also included if the raft is built with that feature (except for the caribou ultralite). Internal dry bags may have patched holes but no more than 6 per combined set of 2 bags.
