Buck knives have long been a symbol of quality when it comes to outdoor knives.  We purchased these used in bulk and had them professionally sharpened so they are "shave-the-hair-off-your-arm-sharp".  All other components are fully functional so with the professional sharpening its almost better than a new knife but it costs a lot less!
We understand that Buck did make knives overseas for a period of time and these knives may have not been up to Buck's high standard so we have included that info (to the best of our knowledge) next to the number on the label when you select which knife you'd like to purchase.
